Avery Elle dies

“A Tag For All” Elle-Ments die set is amazing!  With sentiments  that have possibilities to mix and match to suit different occasions, I think this set brings a LOT of value and inspiration.

I have a card to make for my daughter’s friend and I seem to have hit a creative block!  I have renovation work going on at home and I am unable to think!

I decided to challenge myself to create  card with the first 2 die/ stamp set I pick up today. I sometimes  tend to overthink and looking through my stash, I easily get distracted (lol).

With the Avery Elle- “A Tag For All”  and  Altenew- Vintage Roses set, I suddenly have a lot of ideas.

I stamped a few roses and leaves with Memento- Angel Pink and Rose Bud pigment dye ink. I wasn’t too happy with my stamping, so decided to go over with Copic Markers. A few strokes and the roses were looking much better and I cut them out and arranged in a floral frame. 

After playing around to find the perfect sentiment, I cut the Elle-ments “birthday wishes” in pink  and “best wishes” in gold.  The pink diecut went on the card and I made an envelope and adhered the best wishes diecut diagonally. The pink paper for the envelope came a patterened paper set by Recollections.

Of course, My darling daughter HAD to add a little bit of shimmer with “Wink of Stella“. And there it is! A simple, gorgeous card. Sigh!

I am pleased with the card, and more importantly got my creative juices flowing again.
