Notecards for students

Motivating notecards

Today I’d like to share a few notecards I made for my sister, who is a teacher. I had two helpers in my craft room for the project. My daughter and my nephew Pranav.

We started by laying down distress inks on the craft mat, sprayed water and smooshed the cards on the beautiful beaded color droplets. Next step was to cut the card stock and we used the Simon Says Stamp -In Stitches die to get the stitched rectangle panel. I am in love with the die set and feel it adds a beautiful touch to any card.

The sentiments are from various stamp sets that I’ve listed below. We stamped the quotes with Versafine  Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder and mounted on a note card to finish off.

Of course my daughter loves to play with Distress inks and the Ranger Mini Mister and Pranav totally fascinated by the heat embossing so in a matter of minutes we had 14 pieces ready!  Their excitement was so contagious!
